Dunn’s River Falls earns 2026 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award
ST ANN, Jamaica — Dunn’s River Falls and Park has been named a 2026 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards winner, placing the attraction among the top 10 per cent of attractions worldwide based on visitor reviews and ratings.
In a release on Wednesday, the Urban Development Corporation (UDC), which manages the attraction, said the recognition reflects consistently positive feedback from travellers over a 12-month period and highlights excellence in customer experience, service delivery, environmental stewardship and destination management.
The UDC said the award is another significant achievement for Jamaica’s tourism sector and global brand.
Sherlock Glenister, deputy general manager with responsibility for subsidiary management and revenue generation at the UDC, said the recognition reinforces Jamaica’s reputation as one of the Caribbean’s leading tourism destinations.
“This award is tremendously significant because it comes directly from the voices of travellers from around the world who have experienced the magic of Dunn’s River Falls first-hand. To be ranked among the top 10 per cent of attractions globally is a powerful endorsement of the quality, authenticity and excellence that Jamaica continues to offer the world,” Glenister said.
He added that Dunn’s River Falls remains one of Jamaica’s most important natural and cultural landmarks.
Meanwhile, TripAdvisor Chief Marketing Officer Matt Dacey congratulated the attraction on the achievement.
“Congratulations to Dunn’s River Falls and Park on its recognition in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards for 2026. Ranking among the top percentage of businesses globally means you have made such a memorable impact on your visitors that many of them took time to go online and leave a glowing review about their experience.
“We hope this recognition continues to drive business to you in 2026 and beyond,” Dacey said.
Located in Ocho Rios, St Ann, Dunn’s River Falls and Park is among the Caribbean’s most visited attractions and is known for its waterfall-climbing experience, beach access and eco-tourism offerings.
The UDC noted that the award comes at a time when Jamaica continues to experience strong international tourism demand and heightened global interest in authentic nature-based experiences and sustainable tourism offerings.
