Miss Universe Jamaica parish crownings set for Mandeville
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — An evening of elegance, aspiration, and pageantry is set to unfold as the Miss Universe Jamaica (MUJ) Clarendon, Manchester & St. Elizabeth Parish Coronation takes centre stage at the Golf View Hotel in Mandeville on Saturday, June 28, 2026.
The event will bring together three parishes for one shared moment of celebration, as three young women are officially crowned parish queens. Each will begin a new chapter in their journey toward the national Miss Universe Jamaica competition, carrying the hopes and representation of their respective communities.
Now regarded as one of the most anticipated regional pageants on the MUJ calendar, the coronation is expected to draw strong support from across the island, including sponsors, community leaders, and pageant supporters, all gathered in celebration of confidence, beauty, and achievement.
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 5:00 p.m., offering guests a relaxed and elegant setting to mingle before the formal crowning ceremony gets underway.
Under the leadership of Franchise Holder Trilissa Walker, the Clarendon, Manchester & St Elizabeth franchise continues to position itself as a platform dedicated not only to pageantry, but also to personal development, leadership, and empowerment for young women across the three parishes.
Reflecting on the significance of the occasion, Walker shared:
“This coronation is a celebration of growth, perseverance, and purpose. Watching these young women evolve throughout this journey has been truly inspiring, and we are proud to present them as ambassadors who embody the strength and spirit of their communities.”
Behind the scenes, Program Coordinator Yanique Sailsman has been instrumental in shaping the contestant experience, ensuring that each stage of the journey is carefully coordinated and delivered to a high standard.
She added “Coronation night represents the culmination of months of dedication and preparation. Beyond the crowns, this experience has been about empowering young women, building confidence, and creating a platform where they can step fully into their potential. We look forward to sharing that moment with our audience.”
Guiding the franchise’s marketing direction, brand positioning, and visual identity is serial entrepreneur and mentor Aubyn Henry, whose influence has helped shape the elevated production and overall experience expected on coronation night.
“We have approached this event with a commitment to excellence at every level. From the atmosphere and production to the overall guest experience, our goal has been to create something sophisticated, memorable, and worthy of the remarkable women being celebrated,” Henry said.
As anticipation continues to build across Clarendon, Manchester, and St Elizabeth, attention now turns to Mandeville, where all eyes will be on the Golf View Hotel for a night that blends ambition, preparation, and opportunity as three young women take their first official step into the Miss Universe Jamaica spotlight.
Tickets are available in three categories: Children ($3,500 JMD), General Admission ($6,000 JMD), and VIP ($10,000 JMD), and can be purchased via the official online platform.
When the final crowns are placed, three queens will emerge ready to represent their parishes with grace, confidence, and distinction on the road to the national crown.
