Police seek help in identifying man in connection to JUTC bus fire
KINGSTON, Jamaica—The police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man in connection with the arson of a Jamaican Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus on Saturday, May 30.
Reports are that about 2:40 pm, a man boarded a JUTC bus at South Parade, downtown, Kingston, destined for Spanish Town.
On reaching the Spanish Town bus park, he ignited an object and left it in front of the seat he occupied before disembarking the bus.

A few moments later, the fire engulfed the bus.
His image, along with a short clip, has been posted on the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) social media pages.
Anyone with information that can assist in identifying the man is asked to contact the SIB at 876-922-7953, the police emergency 119 number, or the nearest police station.
