France swat Norway 4-1 to top World Cup Group I, Senegal stay alive
FOXBOROUGH, United States (AFP) — France swatted aside Norway 4-1 to clinch top spot in World Cup Group I on Friday as Senegal kept their hopes of last 32 qualification alive with a 5-0 win over Iraq.
Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele scored a brilliant first-half hat-trick as France extended their 100 per cent start to the tournament after wins over Senegal and Iraq.
