More students awarded COJO scholarships
CHILDREN of Jamaica Outreach (COJO), a New York-based charity, presented scholarships to 15 deserving wards of the State to pursue their tertiary education at various institutions across the island at a luncheon on Tuesday, June 23.
COJO aims to uplift and empower vulnerable youth, to help them obtain access to education, paving the way for a brighter future. COJO has been instrumental in transforming the lives of countless children across Jamaica for three decades.
Here are some highlights from the event, held at Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston.
