Some of the spaces top DJs will take centre stage at Elegance: The Ballroom Experience on Sunday, July 19.

Master Rogj, Welton Irie, DJ VJ Snow, and Krazy Kris are all promising that patrons will leave the event wanting more.

The show is expected to run from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

For DJ VJ Snow, being part of the line-up is a privilege, as the event represents a celebration of “class, style, and timeless music”.

Known for his DJ VJ experience, DJ VJ Snow plans to bring an added dimension to the night by pairing classic songs with the original music videos that helped make them iconic.

“At Elegance Ballroom Experience, you’re not just coming to hear the music; you’re coming to see the music. I’m looking forward to seeing the reaction of the patrons as they enjoy not only the music but also the videos that accompany the songs. Many people have never experienced seeing the original music videos while dancing to the songs, so I’m excited to bring something different and memorable to the event,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

He added that the patrons can expect an audiovisual journey filled with nostalgia, featuring soul classics from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

Veteran selector Welton Irie is also anticipating a memorable night, especially seeing patrons have been encouraged to arrive dressed to impress and ready to enjoy themselves.

“You don’t want to miss this opportunity to be entertained by some of the best in the business and the chance to dance all night,” he said.

With decades of experience behind him, Welton Irie explained that preparation comes naturally.

“Been doing it so long I know exactly what to play and when to play certain songs. After years of doing it, I can do it blindfolded,” he shared. “Expect the best of the best from whatever genre I’m selecting.”

For Master Rogj, being selected for the event is an honour and an opportunity to connect with the audience through music.

“I appreciate the opportunity to share my music and energy from Tiffany Disco with the patrons,” he said, “Patrons can expect an unforgettable musical experience filled with elegance, versatility, nostalgia, and vibrant energy. I’ll be delivering a carefully curated blend of ballroom classics, soulful selections, and crowd favourites guaranteed to keep the dance floor alive.”

In addition to the music, guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and wine. The event will also feature fare, along with cash prizes for the best dressed couple and the best dancer.

For patrons travelling or choosing to stay at the Jamaica Pegasus, special accommodation rates are available.

Meanwhile, Krazy Kris is equally excited to be part of the affair.

“I am always intentional about what I present to my audience, and this will be no different,” he told the Observer.
