In receiving the award on behalf of the JPS team, Grant gave kudos to the Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett for assisting in acquiring hotel rooms to accommodate over 100 overseas linesmen while working in the field. He also recognised Adam Stewart and O’Brian Heron of Sandals Beach Hotel and Resorts, which accommodated one of the JPS Regional Incident Command Centres based in Westmoreland, delaying some of their reconstruction works, to accommodate the JPS teams.
