48-hour curfew imposed in sections of Richmond, St Mary
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Richmond, St Mary.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm, on Wednesday, July 1 and will remain in effect until 6: 00 pm, on Friday, July 3.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
North: From a section of the Beecham Hill community, running along an imaginary line to a section of Richmond town.
East: From a section of Richmond town centre, running along an imaginary line to a section of Zion Hill.
South: From a section of Zion Hill, running along an imaginary line to a section of Essex, Flint River.
West: From a section of Essex, Flint River, running along an imaginary line to a section of Beecham Hill community.
During the hours of the curfew, people within the prescribed boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
