Policeman hospitalised following two-vehicle crash in Manchester

MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A constable assigned to the Mandeville Police Station has been hospitalised following a two-vehicle crash on the Hatfield main road in Manchester on Wednesday night.

The policeman was reportedly among a team of four personnel responding to a call about a prowler on a property when the crash happened about 10:30 pm.

The crash involved a service vehicle and a BMW motor car.

The four lawmen and three occupants of the BMW were taken to hospital for treatment. The three people from the BMW and three of the four cops were treated and released.

However, the constable remains admitted in stable condition with a broken leg and multiple bruises.
