Anthony Patrick to take charge of Innswood High in Manning Cup
Football coach Anthony Patrick will take charge of Innswood High School for the upcoming urban schoolboy football season.
The highly respected Patrick will take the job at Innswood after he fell out of favour at St Catherine High, a school he took from obscurity in 2016 to three Walker Cup titles in 2019, 2021 and 2025 and the final of the Manning Cup in 2024 before losing to Kingston College.
But it was no surprise when St Catherine sacked him, as the school had the same manager as premier league outfit Racing United who had sacked him prior.
Still, Patrick was nonetheless in high demand this off season and the Old Harbour-based Innswood High School have won the sweepstakes.
Patrick made his name after propelling Bridgeport High to the Manning Cup and Walker titles in 2001 and in 2006 he won the Manning Cup for a second time.
It will be a mammoth task for Patrick at longtime football minnows Innswood High and it will take some rebuilding of that programme which was banned by ISSA in 2023 for two years for using ineligible players.
