Vybz Kartel’s ‘Fever’ hits gold in the UK
A year after it was officially certified gold in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America, Fever by dancehall kingpin Vybz Kartel has received a similar certification in the United Kingdom.
On Friday, the British Phonographic Industry issued the certification commemorating 400,000 units in sales and streaming equivalent.
Fever, produced by Linton ‘TJ’ White, was released in 2016.
It did not chart on the official UK Singles chart.
The song peaked at #36 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart in 2017 and spent six weeks on that chart.
