Flow, Jamaica Pegasus team up for football watch parties

KINGSTON, Jamaica—As the FIFA World Cup heads into its thrilling final stages, Flow and The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel are partnering to give football fans an exciting space to enjoy the biggest matches of the tournament.

Flow has transformed the hotel lobby into a vibrant football watch zone, complete with large LED screens, food and beverage options, giveaways and prizes.

Scores of fans enjoyed the thrilling semi-final clashes earlier this week and the venue will also host the third-place playoff between France and England on Saturday, July 18, and the highly anticipated final between Spain and Argentina on Sunday, July 19 at 2:00 pm.

Latoy Lawrence, head of marketing at Flow, said the collaboration will allow fans to experience the excitement of the tournament together as one of the most memorable World Cup draws to a close.

“Football has a special way of bringing people together, and we want fans to enjoy these final matches in an atmosphere that captures the passion and excitement of the World Cup,” Lawrence said. “As an official broadcast sponsor to TVJ, Flow has been helping Jamaicans stay connected to the action throughout the tournament, and we are excited to close it out with another great experience for football fans.”

Lawrence added that the watch parties are also an occasion for the company to engage its customers and reward their loyalty as both residential and business customers will enjoy exciting football and seamless connectivity.

The Jamaica Pegasus, one of Kingston’s best-known social and hospitality destinations, welcomed the partnership.

“We’re excited to collaborate with Flow on this Watch Party series,” said Maurice Bryan, sales manager at The Jamaica Pegasus. “Our lobby has been transformed into an exciting watch zone and it will be great fun with lots of prizes from both Flow and Jamaica Pegasus. Fans can also enjoy our 24Seven Café while watching the games and come for our award-winning Sunday Brunch and stay for the final match on July 19.”

Over the past five weeks, Flow has partnered with brands like Red Stripe, Coca-Cola and popular venues and events including Kingston Kitchen, The Brewery and Usain Bolt’s Tracks & Records to elevate the World Cup viewing experience.

The company also introduced special offers to help customers connect, capture, and share the tournament’s biggest moments.
