‘The Hive’ appoints different as REIT manager

different Capital Limited has secured another real estate investment trust (REIT) engagement, as it has been appointed REIT manager for The Hive, which is set to become western Jamaica’s new home for sport, wellness, and entertainment.

Located at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay, the $700 million complex will bring pickleball, padel, football, swimming, go-karting, track and field, and a jogging trail together on one site, anchored by subtenants including Express Fitness.

The mandate marks different’s latest engagement in the region’s real estate capital markets, as the firm continues to grow its footprint in structured property transactions across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.

Last week, it announced its appointment as REIT managers for Derrimon’s 12-acre property in Drax Hall, St Ann.
