‘Bughead’ fatally shot by police in St Elizabeth, gun seized
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — A man was fatally shot in an alleged confrontation during a targeted police operation in Knoxwood near Burnt Savannah in St Elizabeth Friday morning.
Police named the man as Reon Osbourne, otherwise called “Bughead”.
Preliminary reports are that about 5:15 am, during the targeted operation, police went in search of Osbourne when he allegedly confronted them with a firearm.
He was shot and taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police said a .38 revolver was seized during the incident.
Police also said Osbourne was a member of the giant criminal network and was reportedly hiding out in St Elizabeth.
