Police share composite sketch of alleged robber
HANOVER, Jamaica — Hanover police have released a composite sketch of a suspect who is being sought in connection with a late-night robbery and assault in Lucea.
The suspect is being sought to answer to charges of assault at common law, robbery with aggravation and breaches of the Firearms Act following an incident on Main Street in the parish on Monday, May 4.
Reports are that about 11:00 pm, the suspect, along with other men, held a man at gunpoint and robbed him of a sum of cash and a cellular phone before fleeing the scene.
The police are appealing to anyone with information that could assist the investigation to contact the Lucea Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) at 876-956-2304, Crime Stop at 311, the police emergency number 119, or the nearest police station.
