Jamaica’s Rasheda Green advances to the Supra Chat finals at Miss Supranational 2026
Rasheda Green, Miss Supranational Jamaica 2026, has been making waves in Poland, at the Miss Supranational pageant.
Earlier this week, she along with the delegates from Canada, France, Indonesia, Namibia, the United Kingdom and Tanzania, advanced to the final round of the Supra Chat segment of the competition.
Observer Online caught up with Rasheda on Saturday morning in between rehearsals.
“Making it to the finals of Supra Chat is a really significant achievement because it’s one of the competition’s official challenge events that measures much more than just appearance. It highlights the ability to communicate, connect with people, think on your feet, and build genuine engagement with audiences around the world. For me to be selected as a finalist from all the amazing contestants representing countries across the globe is an incredible honour,” Rasheda shared.
She continued, “Making it into the finals of the Supra chat, it means that Jamaica is being recognised not only for beauty, but also for personality, authenticity, and the ability to represent our country on an international stage. I’m truly proud to have made it this far and grateful to everyone who has supported me along the journey.”
Sixty-seven countries are competing for the Miss Supranational 2026 title.
Rashed, who is from the eastern Jamaica parish of St Thomas, is appreciative of the support that she has received from home and abroad thus far.
“The support from Jamaicans, whether you’re at home or anywhere in the world, means everything to me,” she said while encouraging persons to cast their votes for her, to assist in her advancing further in the competition.
“Voting is simple: download the Miss Supranational App on play store. Select the Miss Supranational option at the top. Select the word “vote” at the bottom of the page. Select the Supra chat final and then select Jamaica. Every vote helps increase Jamaica’s visibility on the international stage,” she said.
She spoke about her experience in Poland.
“It has been an unforgettable and exciting experience thus far. Meeting women from around the world has reminded me that while we all come from different cultures and backgrounds, we share so many common dreams and aspirations. I’ve had the opportunity to learn about other countries, showcase Jamaica’s culture, and build friendships that I know will last well beyond the competition. Poland has been incredibly welcoming, and every day has challenged me to grow, to represent Jamaica with excellence, and to embrace every moment with gratitude. It’s truly been a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
The Miss Supranational 2026 Grand Final and Coronation takes place on Friday, July 31, in Nowy Sącz, Poland.
“I’m incredibly excited to step onto that stage and represent Jamaica with pride. I ask everyone to continue keeping me in your prayers, cheering me on, and sending your love as I give my very best for Jamaica. This journey has been for all of us. Thank you for believing in me. Lastly, I want to say no matter what happens on coronation night, I hope every Jamaican knows that I’ve carried our flag with pride, passion, and purpose. Thank you for walking this journey with me. One love, Jamaica,” said Green.
