Former PwC partner Don Christian named chairman of different Capital
Commercial realtor and REIT managers different Capital Limited has appointed retired PwC partner Don Christian as chairman of its board.
Christian retired from PwC after a distinguished 36-year career, where he served on both the PwC Global Board and PwC US Board, helping guide strategy and governance across one of the world’s largest professional services organisations, different stated in a release announcing the appointment.
He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Howard University, one of the United States’ leading institutions of higher education, the release added.
According to different, the appointment of Christian as chairman marks an important milestone in the company’s evolution and an important transition for Chris Williams, who now moves fully into his role as Chief Executive Officer after leading different through its startup phase as both chairman and CEO.
“With this strengthened leadership structure, different is well positioned to continue building institutional-quality real estate opportunities and managing its REIT platform with the highest standards of governance,” the company said.
