WATCH: Two shot and injured in Bellefield, Manchester

MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Two men have been hospitalised following a gun attack near the entrance of the Bellefield High School in Manchester on Sunday.

Preliminary reports are that about 5:00 pm masked gunmen ambushed a group of people and opened fire hitting two men before fleeing the scene.

The group of people had gathered at the school for a regular Sunday football game when the attack happened.

Two injured men were rushed to hospital with one sustaining a gunshot wound to his face and the other was reportedly shot in his shoulder.

Police said a third man was bruised as he received minor injuries when people scampered for cover after gunshots rang out.
