WATCH: Mother and infant escape injury after highway crash
ST THOMAS, Jamaica — A female driver and her infant daughter escaped serious injuries this afternoon after the car they were travelling crashed into a retaining wall.
The pair were travelling along the newly renamed Paul Bogle Highway in St Thomas.
According to reports, the driver was travelling in an easterly direction when on reaching a section commonly called “Three Finger Jack” the car picked up a skid in loose sand on the road.
As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into the retaining wall. Both occupants were taken to a medical facility for treatment.
