Campari Bad Beaches SOS ignites Dream Wknd 2026

Montego Bay’s shoreline at Tropical Bliss Beach pulsed with energy Thursday, July 30, as Campari Bad Beaches SOS set the tone for the 2026 edition of Dream Wknd in its new home.

The highly anticipated kick-off party delivered a seamless blend of music, fashion, and vibes, giving proof that the festival’s relocation has only amplified its allure.

From the onset, DJs Dwayne Pow and Pioneer, Coppershot, Creep Chromatic and Fyahman, and Dexta Peppa kept patrons moving with solid mixes that traversed dancehall, soca, hip hop, and international club anthems. Their sets built momentum throughout the evening, creating the perfect runway for the live performances that followed.

The stage came alive with dynamic showcases from Adofo, Qwella, and Jamal, each bringing their own flair to the night. Adofo’s commanding presence, Qwella’s smooth delivery, and Jamal’s high-energy performance ensured the crowd never lost its spark. They elevated the party from a DJ-driven vibe to a full-scale entertainment spectacle.

The atmosphere was electric, with scores of patrons embracing the ‘Sexy Beach Glam’ theme. Sequined ‘fits, flowing resort wear, and bold accessories turned the venue into a runway of Caribbean chic, perfectly complementing the Campari red branding that lit up the beachfront.

Dream Wknd’s Montego Bay debut is off to a dazzling start, and if Campari Bad Beaches SOS is any indication, the rest of the festival promises unforgettable nights of music, fashion, and pure Jamaican energy.

“The energy at the opening party was nothing short of electric, and we are thrilled to be part of this historic first staging of Dream Wknd in Montego Bay. As a major sponsor, Campari is proud to celebrate alongside the thousands of fans who bring this festival to life. Montego Bay offers a vibrant new backdrop that perfectly complements the spirit of Dream Wknd, and we couldn’t be more excited to help shape this new chapter.

“For the rest of the series, people can expect Campari to keep elevating the experience, whether through bold activations, unforgettable moments, or the signature taste that fuels celebration, we’re looking forward to raising the bar with each event and making this Dream Wknd one to remember,” said Jerome Walters, brand manager, Campari.
