THE Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has warned people attending the Come Alive Concert at the King’s House East Lawn today that firearms, explosives, knives, igloos, scissors, or any item that can be used to cause serious harm or injury will not be allowed inside the venue.

In addition, traffic changes will be implemented on the roads around King’s House.

According to the JCF, the following roads will be closed between midday and 11:00 pm:

• East King’s House Road at the intersection with East King’s House Avenue.

• Sandhurst Crescent, Sandhurst Avenue, Marley Road, and Nunthorpe Drive.

• Hope Road onto East King’s House Road.

Alternative Routes:

• Motorists travelling southbound along East King’s House Road should turn left onto East King’s House Avenue, left onto Sandy Park Road, then right onto Richings Avenue to access Hope Road.

• Motorists travelling along Hope Road wishing to access East King’s House Road should turn onto Richings Avenue to access East Kings House Avenue, then make a right onto East King’s House Road.

Access will be granted to residents, critical services, and people wishing to access the Barbican Beach and other businesses in the vicinity.

The JCF said traffic personnel will be deployed along the roadways, and members of the public are being advised to follow their instructions.

Come Alive is a fund-raising concert and worship experience to be held for seven hours from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

It will feature an impressive list of artistes led by internationally acclaimed gospel singer Michael W Smith, alongside powerhouse gospel singers — Papa San, Jermaine Edwards, Johnmark Wiggan, Petra-Kaye, and HUMBLE.

Pre-show acts include Audience of One and the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission Gospel Star finalists.
