Hope Vocals looks to build musical momentum with two new singles
Determined to prove herself in a difficult industry, Maroon-fusion reggae artiste Hope Vocals is getting ready to release two new singles — Warrior and God’s Timing.
The singer says the new tracks will mark the next chapter in her career as she aims to prove the success of her Kumina Medley (Walk In Deh) was only the beginning.
Since its release earlier this year, Kumina Medley, produced by international hit-making producer Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor, has evolved from a viral sensation into an international radio favourite. The song has earned heavy rotation on several of Jamaica’s leading radio stations and is now receiving airplay across the Caribbean, as well as in key Diaspora markets including Atlanta, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Toronto, and London. Its reach has also expanded into Europe, Ghana, and Zimbabwe, introducing audiences worldwide to Hope Vocals’ distinctive blend of reggae, Maroon heritage, and Kumina traditions.
Kumina Medley recently climbed to #6 on the Voice of the Caribbean Florida Reggae & Dancehall Top 20.
“The response to Kumina Medley has been incredible, and I’m grateful to everyone who has embraced the song,” the singer said. “I’m excited to share Warrior and God’s Timing because they represent where I am creatively and spiritually. I hope they inspire people just as much as they inspire me,” she said.
Both tracks are produced by Ralston Barrett for Symphony B Records.
