Second person dies after Trelawny crash
TRELAWNY, Jamaica — The death toll from Monday evening’s motor vehicle crash involving a truck and a Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV on a section of the North Coast Highway that passes through Braco, Trelawny, has risen to two.
A female occupant of the SUV succumbed to injuries at hospital, where she was taken for treatment, while the male driver died at the scene.

Their identities have not yet been disclosed.
It is not immediately clear whether any occupants of the truck sustained injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are still being investigated.
Up to Monday morning, the tally of road fatalities stood at 210 since the start of the year, 29 fewer than the 239 recorded over the same period last year.
