DaCosta’s dominance continues with Saturday treble at Caymanas Park
CURRENT four-time champion trainer Jason DaCosta continued his dominance after saddling three winners on the 10-race card at Caymanas Park on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
His winners were Purosangue and Formalist, both ridden by Robert Halledeen in the second and sixth races, respectively, and Fidelity, ridden by Tevin Foster, in the seventh.
Purosangue (USA) came from behind to beat stablemate Novio (Tevin Foster) by a head in the $1.19-million Restricted Stakes for imported three-year-olds and upward (non-winners of three) and native-bred three-year-olds and four-year-olds (non-winners of four) over 7½ furlongs (1,500m). Olivia D’Oro (Shane Richardson) finished third.
