St Jago Park Health Centre to close temporarily
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The St Jago Park Health Centre will be temporarily closed from Thursday, August 27 to Monday, August 31 to facilitate the relocation of its network infrastructure and Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
In a release, the St Catherine Health Department said the health centre will be closed on Thursday, August 27, Friday, August 28 and Monday, August 31, 2026, to allow the relocation exercise to be carried out safely and securely.
The Management Information Systems (MIS) Department will decommission, relocate, reinstall and test the EHR/SystmOne system and related network equipment during the closure.
Members of the public seeking routine healthcare services during this period are advised to visit neighbouring health centres.
Those requiring urgent medical services are advised to visit Spanish Town Hospital.
The St Catherine Health Department apologised for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure and thanked the public for its cooperation and understanding as work is carried out to improve the facility.
