I Dream Again to lead home rivals in O&S Tack Room feature

THE $1.25-million O&S Tack Room Trophy is the feature on Saturday’s 10-race programme at Caymanas Park.

The Restricted Overnight Allowance for three-year-olds and upward goes one mile (1,600m) and drew a field of 11.

The
Jamaica Observer’s The Supreme Racing Guide analyses all the runners:

1. I DREAM AGAIN: (4 b c Soul Warrior – Lady Najariya) – Has won once from seven starts this season but has come close at this level a few times. I Dream Again was just beaten a length by Commander Z at 5½ furlongs (1,100m) on August 8. The extra ground to a mile should suit him and he could go one better.

2. CAPTAIN SPARROW: (5 b h Savoy Stomp – Rackam’s Mistress) – Is going to be left behind in this one.

3. ALLEGIANCE: (5 ch h Midnight Hawk – Princess Greeta) – Was outsprinted into fourth going 5½ furlongs on August 8. Allegiance should go better at this distance and should make a bold bid.

4. CALIFORNIA GOLD: (6 b h Lion Tamer – Blue Saphire) – Has no chance of winning. California faces a tough assignment.

5. BOB THE BUILDER: (4 b c Hedge Fund – Sound of Miracle ) – Finished a good third, beaten 2¾ lengths by Miss MoneyPenny and I Dream Again at five furlongs (1,000m) straight on July 11. Much more effective at this distance, and Bob The Builder is expected to challenge for top honours.

6. SHOOTING STAR: (USA) (5 b h Tapiture – Diffuse Nebula) – Steps up from high claiming to compete here. Shooting Star should run well here.

7. WHIZZ KIDD: (6 b h Northern Giant – Maken Joy) – Can safely be bypassed. Needs to improve a lot.

8. COOKIE DAY N NIGHT: (6 ch h Resurgence – Eloping Emma) – Is not expected to be a major player here. Up against it.

9. UNRULY MO : (USA) (4 b c Outwork – Snakeinthegrass) – Has no chance of winning. Hard to see Unruly Mo involved here.

10. WICKED CASSIE: (USA) (5 dk b/br m Wicked Strong – Clever Cassie) – Capable on her best day. While she is not expected to win, Wicked Cassie can run well and grab a piece.

11. KING PIYE: (5 ch h Admiral Alex – Jamaican Pharoah) – Cannot be recommended for a winning run. Needs a career best.
