Jahshii to embark on islandwide tour; aims to reconnect with his fans
IN a move to reconnect with his fan base, dancehall artiste Jahshii is set to embark on a multi-stop tour across the island in November.
The Born Fighter artiste says the tour will feature performances backed by Tower Band and he’s also bringing along some special guests at each stop.
“The fanbase a grow and mi just waa continue grow with the fans,” he told the Jamaica Observer recently.
“The islandwide tour will kick off in November, and you can expect high-energy performances, special guests at each stop. We’ll be going across the island, and it will be a live music experience like no other,” Jahshii assured.
He added, “We really want to get the fans dem closer, like in an up close and personal vibe, so we have been doing rehearsals while locking in the venues.”
Jahshii, who is best known for songs like Pieces featuring Masicka, Cream of the Crop and
Born Fighter, revealed that it wasn’t an easy journey to get to where he is today.
“Mi a come from nobody naw do nuttin fi mi; a fight wi fight to get up deh. But it is very satisfying to help other emerging talent and see how they develop and make it in the music,” he shared.
Father to a young son, Jahshii says fatherhood has changed his perspective on life.
“It has changed my outlook on life; family comes first and my priorities come first. That’s what we get from being a father,” he shared.
Jahshii’s latest single Auto Pilot, produced by Troublemekka, was released two months ago. He says new music is on the way.
“We definitely have some new music coming especially for the ladies, because we not leaving them out,” he said.
