Koffee’s Toast hits gold in France

KOFFEE’S eight-year-old hit Toast has achieved the gold mark in France. This as the song accumulated more than 15 million streams to be certified by the Syndicat national de l’édition phonographique, in English National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP).

The certification was issued on Monday.

Toast, which was previously certified platinum in the United Kingdom, also achieved a gold certification in Canada.

The song is featured on Original Koffee’s 2019 EP titled Rapture, which won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album.

Toast became the reggae artiste’s first charted single, rising to #70 on the UK Singles chart and #47 in the United States on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in 2019.

The official video for Toast has so far racked up more than 291 million views on
YouTube.
