Fast-rising dancehall producer Dalton “Dai Julio” Phang is emerging as one of the new producers to watch in 2026 as he has been churning out new sounds that have been captivating the dancehall audience.

His latest release is a catchy track by dancehall star Jahvillani entitled Code Switch which he produced alongside YGF Records and Crownboss Records. According to the producer, Jahvillani is easy to work with and the song has great potential.

“This song is a banger and the fans already a give it the energy I expected. It’s already doing numbers and it’s barely been a week since it was released. I cannot say I am still surprised because the energy was right from jump. Jahvillani is easy to work with and it was a team effort in terms of the production. YGF, Crownboss and myself merged ideas to create a superb project,” stated Dai Julio.

Hailing from Montego Bay, St James, Dai Julio began seriously pursuing music in 2020. Since then, he has continued developing his skills as a producer while building a strong interest in recording and discovering new talent.

Beyond production, Dai Julio says he has a passion for scouting and developing emerging artistes from Jamaica’s western parishes, with hopes of helping introduce a new generation of talent to the wider dancehall market.

The emerging producer recently inked a two-year management deal with Young Generation Fraternity (YGF), marking a new chapter in his career as he looks to expand his presence within the Jamaican music industry. Jahvillani has been enjoying a career resurgence after recently releasing a cluster of buzzing new singles.
