ARC marks 30 years in manufacturing
ARC Manufacturing Limited is celebrating 30 years of business, growth and contribution to Jamaica’s development.
The Jamaican-owned company has grown into a recognised name in the manufacturing and construction sectors, providing quality building materials and solutions to homeowners, contractors, developers, businesses and communities across the island.
The milestone is being celebrated under the theme “Made of Jamaica,” reflecting ARC’s proud Jamaican roots and its belief in the strength, resilience, creativity and potential of Jamaica and its people.
Founded in 1996 by Norman W Horne and Charlotte Horne-Hayles, ARC has evolved from a local business into an established player in Jamaica’s manufacturing and construction landscape. Both founders remain actively involved in the business, providing leadership, guidance and continuity to the company’s strategic direction.
Conroy Rose, Chief Executive Officer, leads ARC’s day-to-day operations and strategic growth as the company enters its fourth decade.
The 30th anniversary celebrations will culminate in an awards gala on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Jamaica Pegasus hotel in Kingston. The black-tie event will bring together employees, customers, partners and distinguished guests for an evening of celebration and recognition.
The gala will honour long serving and outstanding employees, valued customers and key partners whose contributions have played an important role in ARC’s growth.
For ARC, 30 years represents more than a business milestone.
“It is a celebration of a Jamaican success story and of the people, partnerships and shared determination that have helped build the company into what it is today,” it stated.
