THOUGH Saania Morgan and William Stewart had orbited the same social circles for years, the timing was never quite right for an introduction, much less a connection. The game changed in 2019, however, when courtside encounters gave way to a blossoming romance.

“He used to watch me play netball on a court near New Day All-Age School in Kingston, which was also where he played football. That’s eventually how we exchanged numbers,” Saania revealed to Tuesday Style Vows (TSV). “We started talking over the phone and soon began meeting up in person. My first impression of him was that he was incredibly driven. If he said he was going to do something, he always followed through. I was also deeply impressed by what a wonderful father he was to his son.”

They were aligned in energy and ambition, but William’s gentle affection for Saania proved to be the anchor of their relationship.

“We constantly motivated each other to excel, but it was the comfort of his smile and tight hugs every time we met that meant the world to me” Saania said.

They began dating shortly thereafter, though their journey was not without its hurdles. A brief separation tested their bond, but with neither ever truly letting go, they naturally found their way back to one another.

“No matter how mad we made each other, our bond remained unbreakable. We would always talk things through — even on the days that I disliked him intensely, I never stopped loving him,” Saania told TSV.

Their love story reached a milestone on November 12, 2025, when William proposed to Saania.

“I was completely caught off guard! We were supposedly going out for his friend’s birthday dinner. I was tired and hesitant, but their insistence finally got me out the door,” Saania recalled. “After dinner, as we got up to go, a friend caught my attention with a quick question. As I turned back, a waiter set down a cake adorned with sparklers and a plate that read, ‘Will you marry me?’ That is when I looked down and saw William on one knee, ring in hand!”

Boone Hall Oasis in Stony Hill, St Andrew, provided a picturesque canvas for Saania and William as they celebrated their nuptials on July 26, 2026. Event Planet 876 styled the venue to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, creating a stunning setting for the special occasion.

Picture-perfect in a mermaid gown, Saania was escorted up the aisle by her mother, Sonia Simpson, to Major’s Why I Love You, towards her waiting groom. Guided by Bishop Paul Nelson, Saania and William exchanged vows, sealing their commitment to each other.

Following dinner, the reception buzzed with toasts from loved ones, wishing the newly-weds happiness. Saania and William then observed traditional formalities, cutting their two-tiered wedding cake before sharing their first dance as a married couple to Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years.
