Twelve Tribes Entertainment continues to build momentum for its Book of Micah rhythm with Remember, the latest collaboration between Jamaican dancehall artiste WASP (Above Average) and producer DJ Jahmar.

Released September 18 via Shinealous Records, and powered by Symphonic Distribution, Remember earned placement on Apple Music’s Pressure Drop play list upon its release.

The single is also accompanied by two music videos; a raw version and a clean version— catering to selectors, radio programmers and fans.

The track is the latest entry on the Book of Micah rhythm, which Twelve Tribes Entertainment and DJ Jahmar launched in August 2026 with Edley Shine’s Broken Dolly.

According to WASP, a particular element of the production immediately caught his attention and ultimately shaped the direction of the song.

“When I got the rhythm I heard a particular sound in it, and that specific sound inspired the song Remember. What I brought was my storytelling style. I think that is one of my strong points — being able to tell a vivid story,” WASP explained.

The collaboration also builds on a working relationship between WASP and DJ Jahmar that stretches back approximately five years. The two connected while WASP was promoting a collaboration with Vybz Kartel and reaching out to disc jockeys for support.

“I reached out to every disc jockey possible, and Jahmar was one of them. I sent the song to him, he requested a dub, and from that day we maintained the connection,” the artiste shared.

Their partnership later resulted in Badmon Money, featuring dancehall veteran Cutty Ranks, Born Jamericans founding member Edley Shine, and Shan Hill. The collaboration has amassed more than two million streams across digital platforms.

DJ Jahmar has also worked with Cutty Ranks on Top Shottas, which secured placement on Spotify’s Dancehall Official editorial play list.

With Remember now earning its own Apple Music play list placement the producer continues to expand his presence across major streaming platforms.

Born Marvin Clarke, WASP has been involved in Jamaican dancehall for close to three decades. He began his career in 1994 after winning a talent contest while still in high school and, by the mid-1990s, was performing alongside established deejays and recording early collaborations, including one with Spragga Benz.

He later co-founded Park to Park Entertainment with Zooma and released his début mixtape, The Buzz, through Throwback Entertainment in 2007. The project gained attention in Jamaica and South Florida, while subsequent work with Black Chiney Productions and producer Don Corleone further raised his profile.

Among the songs that helped establish WASP were Best a Dem with Spragga Benz, Buss de Place, Step to Dem, Unfair Officer, and Cry Fi Dem, several of which enjoyed #1 runs on HYPE TV’s VTX Countdown.

Known for his memorable lyrics and versatility across dancehall and hip hop, WASP has performed at major events including Reggae Sumfest, Sting, Fully Loaded, ATI, Reggae in the Valley, the Montego Bay Jerk Festival, and the London Olympics Road Show on the Kingston waterfront.

His Above Average mixtape, distributed free through DJ Dotcom, eventually became so closely associated with the entertainer that the name evolved into his brand. He now records as WASP (Above Average).

With Remember, WASP and DJ Jahmar add another chapter to their years-long musical partnership while continuing the roll-out of the Book of Micah rhythm.
