Gas prices down $0.25, diesel up $3.38

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, October 7, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.

After a decrease of $0.25, 90-octane will be sold for $217.08 per litre, while 87 will be sold for $209.37 per litre down $0.25.

Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $242.26 per litre after a $3.38 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $264.16 per litre up $4.07.

Kerosene increased by $4.50 and will be sold for $222.17 per litre.

Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $78.21 per litre up $1.41 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $98.63 per litre after an increase of $4.12.

Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
