More schools benefit from Seprod’s Nutri+Milk initiative
SEPROD’S Nutri+ Milk has expanded its school nutrition initiative to six additional schools across Jamaica, committing a further 30,000 units of milk to support young learners throughout the 2026/2027 academic year.
Building on the initiative launched at Naggo Head Infant School in September, the expansion will benefit students at Galilee Early Childhood Development Centre in Kingston, Seaforth Primary School in St Thomas, Anchovy Primary School in St James, Black River Primary and Infant School, and Burnt Savannah Primary School in St Elizabeth, and Whitfield Primary and Infant School in St Andrew.
Through the year-long commitment, Anchovy Primary School will receive 9,600 units of Nutri+Milk, followed by Black River Primary and Infant School with 7,200 units, and Burnt Savannah Primary School with 6,000 units.
Seaforth Primary School, Galilee Early Childhood Development Centre and Whitfield Primary and Infant School will each receive 2,400 units.
The monthly supply will strengthen the schools’ breakfast and nutrition programmes, helping to ease the financial burden on parents while providing students with consistent access to nutritious milk throughout the academic year.
“It is a pleasure to see the Nutri+Milk initiative continue to grow and reach more schools and communities across Jamaica,” said Deidra Grey, brand manager for Nutri+Milk, in a media release.

“We recognise the important connection between good nutrition and a child’s ability to learn, focus and participate in the classroom.
By providing consistent support throughout the academic year we hope to make a meaningful difference in the everyday lives of students while also easing some of the financial pressure on parents and school administrators,” added Grey.
She noted that the expansion forms part of Seprod’s wider commitment to supporting 20 schools across Jamaica throughout the 2026/2027 academic year through its Nutri+Milk brand, reflecting the company’s continued investment in initiatives that promote childhood nutrition, education and overall well-being.
The initiative was first introduced at Naggo Head Infant School in Portmore, St Catherine on September 4, with a commitment of 6,000 units of Nutri+Milk for the academic year.
Together with the six additional schools, this brings the total planned contribution to 36,000 units of milk across seven schools, providing sustained nutritional support to young learners.
In welcoming the donation Alecia Henry, guidance counsellor at Seaforth Primary, said: “We are truly grateful to Seprod and Nutri+Milk for this generous initiative.
Proper nutrition plays a vital role in a child’s ability to concentrate, learn and perform well in school.
“This contribution will not only support our students’ nutritional needs but also ease the financial burden on many families.
As a school, we are pleased to be part of an initiative that prioritises the health, well-being and academic development of our children,” said Henry.
