RUSH Sports to deliver NBA coverage across Caribbean

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados — Caribbean Premier Sports Limited (CPSL) on Thursday announced a new collaboration with the National Basketball Association (NBA) that will bring live action to fans across the Caribbean on RUSH Sports channels, beginning November 9, 2026. Through the collaboration, live NBA games will be available across 24 Caribbean markets.

RUSH Sports will premiere its NBA coverage with Washington Wizards vs Detroit Pistons starting 7:00 pm ET.

This game will launch an extensive season of NBA coverage on RUSH Sports channels, including select live regular-season games, select live NBA Playoff games, and the 2027–28 Conference Finals series.

The collaboration further strengthens RUSH Sports’ position as a destination for premium international sports across the Caribbean, combining world-class NBA basketball with programming, storytelling and fan engagement designed specifically for audiences throughout the region.

Michael Look Tong, Caribbean Premier Sports CEO, said: “This is an exciting new chapter for RUSH Sports and for basketball fans across the Caribbean. The NBA has an incredibly passionate following throughout our region, together with strong Caribbean connections across the league. With this collaboration, we are bringing fans closer to the teams, players and moments they love, while also celebrating the Caribbean stories that are part of today’s NBA.”

The NBA’s deep ties to the Caribbean are central to the RUSH Sports experience, with current and emerging players reflecting the region’s growing influence on the game at its highest level.

Bahamian players on 2026-27 opening-night rosters include Buddy Hield (Chicago Bulls), VJ Edgecombe (Philadelphia 76ers) and Deandre Ayton (Washington Wizards), while Jose Alvarado (New York Knicks) brings Puerto Rican ties to the league.

RUSH Sports will incorporate these Caribbean connections into its season-long storytelling.

Arnon de Mello, NBA Latin America & Canada managing director, said: “The Caribbean is home to some of the most passionate basketball fans in the world, and the region’s connection to our league, from the fans in the stands to the players on the court, continues to grow stronger every season. Through this collaboration with CPSL, we are bringing live NBA action to more fans across the Caribbean than ever before. We look forward to celebrating the Caribbean’s connection to the NBA together with CPSL and basketball fans across the region.”

RUSH Sports’ coverage will be anchored by NBA Nights on RUSH Sports channels, with live games scheduled on Mondays and/or Tuesdays, together with selected Sunday nights beginning in February 2027, giving fans regular access to some of the league’s biggest teams, stars and matchups. Coverage will also extend beyond the court with player and team features, Caribbean-focused stories, regular tune-in information and special coverage around key NBA moments.

CPSL will support the launch with a regional promotional campaign across television, social media, digital platforms, outdoor media, radio and its network of affiliate partners, together with fan engagement and special activations.
