For Sheryl Lee Ralph, style is a family affair. The Emmy, Critics Choice and Independent Spirit Award-winning actress joined her daughter, stylist Ivy “Coco” Maurice, for a striking fashion moment in Citizen Magazine Issue 005. Photographed in Kingston, Jamaica, in March, the mother-daughter duo wore designs by Bianca Saunders and Diotima, respectively, for ”Loyalty at Heart”, an editorial styled by Mecca James-Williams. Curated in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, the visual tribute turns its lens on Jamaican families, celebrating the bonds that endure and a shared allegiance to one another and home. A sentiment captured in its central message: “Loyal to one another, home in Jamaica”.
