US actress and entrepreneur Vivica A Fox, who arrives in Kingston, Jamaica, this week, shared in an exclusive interview with AW Wednesday last that she’ll be packing her amazing collection of wigs from the Vivica Fox’s Hair Collection. “I’m very excited about this collection,” shared Fox ahead of boarding an aircraft. “I’m looking forward to showing off the wigs to the fabulous ladies of Jamaica. Fox, who is no stranger to Jamaica, (“I’ve visited twice before and in fact attended Regina King’s wedding in Ocho Rios”) admits that her encounter with the island “was love at first sight”. Naturally, with talk swirling about the diva’s own pending nuptials, we broached the subject and asked if a date had been set for her marriage to club promoter Omar “Slimm” White, from whom she received an eight-carat diamond after just over a year of dating. After a short burst of laughter, Fox told AW that the wedding “will take place this year before the holidays, in Atlanta, and I might just do Jamaica for our honeymoon”. Until that becomes official, however, we can confirm that Vivica A Fox will be in Jamaica for the Jamaica OBSERVER CELEBRATES FASHION’S NIGHT OUT as the special guest of Permanent Cosmetics & SoHo boutique at an event aptly dubbed “MAKE-UP MEETS FASHION”.
