Only Jesus…
IT is said that a person can only change his or her ways if they really want to, but for many, the divine power of Jesus Christ trumps even personal conviction.
From reforming serial cheaters to extinguishing bad habits, only Jesus was successful in getting the people below to change.
Mark A:
I was a master masturbator and pornography watcher. After becoming a Christian and I learnt that these things can cause a reprobate mind, I stopped. To be honest, if it wasn’t for Christ and salvation I would still be enjoying the likes of my one-eyed snake.
William H:
I was a con artist. I would go around telling people my family was poor and collect money from them. When I got saved I found a few of the same people I took money from and repaid them with what I had saved up.
Basil K:
My philosophy was to have nuff gyal and gyal in a bundle. Trust me, I had them. In every parish I had at least two women and none knew of the other. When I found Jesus I started believing in the one-burner lifestyle. Before Christ there was no one who could tell me to have one wife and I’d make no bones about it. Only Jesus could change that about me.
Rachel R:
When I found Jesus I stopped being a gold-digger and started seeing men beyond their monetary value.
Shanique H:
I used to say that my body was mine and I was free to give it to whomever I saw fit. Salvation is a hell of a thing and that’s all that could change me, and it certainly changed me. The Psalm says come taste and see that the Lord is good. He is indeed amazing. People encouraged me as the men would talk and I was seen as the ghetto mattress but I didn’t care. Only Jesus saves, trust me.
Renae L:
I had a lying problem. I would lie for the least little thing. If someone asked where I lived, my age, my favourite colour, food, shoe size, anything, I would lie and create a false life and I believed it too. It was as if I never even realised something was wrong. After giving my life to Jesus and getting counselling I started to change and speak the truth, which set me free.
