Does the size of the stone matter?
So your man has finally popped the question; he decided to ask you to marry him by putting a ring on your finger. However, the stone is way too small for your liking.
How would you react? Does the size of the stone count?
Kerry, 35:
I don’t think the size of the stone matters; it’s the size of his heart that counts. I would jump for joy.
Latoya, 31:
The second he got on one knee I would say yes, so the size wouldn’t be a problem at all. The fact that this man loves me enough to want to marry me would speak a whole lot more than the ring.
Sheena, 24:
I would like a nice ring; it doesn’t have to be fussy but it surely shouldn’t be so small that I can’t see the stone. Even if he had to save to buy it, I would wait for him to buy one with a nice-sized stone.
Kelly, 39:
The stone has to be a good size, and if he was to give me one with a small stone, it must be like teaser — using the small stone as a sign of something bigger and better to come.
Hay-Marie, 37:
It would never reach the point of a small stone for me because the minute I start dropping my hints about the rings I like he had better start picking up the hints. How can I resell a ring with a small stone in it if things don’t work out between us?
