Daisy TRAIN!

The spirit of the 2013 Baz Luhrmann-directed The Great Gatsby flick, inspired by the F Scott Fitzgerald classic, shimmied over to the ballroom amenities of the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel last Wednesday for the themed Sagicor Group’s annual corporate awards. Individual interpretations of character Daisy Buchanan — as well as a few dapper Jay Gatsbys, themselves — made appearances along embroidered-chiffon, lace and sequinned seams; and among the crystal, estate-style bijoux of the advisors, managers and executives who came out to honour their own.
