My annoying mate
WHEN you have been with a person over a period of time, the little things they do can either drive you crazy, or you adjust by accepting their behaviour as just being part of who they are.
What annoys you the most about your partner?
Sasha:
The way he eats – the clapping of his mouth and the fast pace at which the gobbles up his food. When we just met and I asked him if he couldn’t eat slowly, he said that he grew up in a family of 10 and if he didn’t eat his food fast he wouldn’t have any food because his older brothers would eat off his food. I told him he was an adult now and his brothers aren’t around, and he just said some things are hard to change.
Devon:
My girlfriend saves up her underwear for when she does laundry every two weeks. It’s nasty to me, but she doesn’t see it that way. I grew up seeing the women in my family washing their undies when they took them off. I’m not used to this type of washing.
Tatianna:
Everything he does gets to me. When a relationship is coming to an end and no one wants to end it, it makes the simple things someone does seem so annoying.
Linton:
The fact that she can’t cook. At first I didn’t have a problem with cooking, but she expects me to cook all the time.
Suzette:
He isn’t the type to show his emotions. He doesn’t hug me or kiss me or say ‘I love you’. I know he does, but it would be nice to hear it or have him show it.
