The inspiration for the line came from Ade’s personal search for a unique swimsuit while on vacation. The search led to her realising the lack of African designers in the swimsuit market, a gap she is admirably seeking to close.
Aside from having a great ethos and eye-catching designs, the swimsuits are also designed with functionality in mind. The cut of each is carefully considered to ensure it lifts key areas and accentuates curves. Something we could all use! Finally, each piece is hand-sewn to ensure utmost quality.
What’s the feedback? People are certainly responding. B FYNE has 200,000 (and climbing), social media followers and has been featured on the pages of Vogue, Glamour and Sports Illustrated. The designer is looking to expand into high-end apparel and menswear.
