I want to reduce my tummy
Dear Donovan,
I would like to reduce my tummy size without taking any medicines. My height is 5′ 6” and my weight is 65 kg. I used to be very thin, so I started having dry fruits and more foods to put on weight. In addition to gaining weight, however, my tummy size increased from 86cm to 92cm. It is very embarrassing for me to dress because my tummy looks very odd. Please suggest what I should do to reduce my tummy.
It is very important to maintain a balance in all aspects of life. In your case, you put on too much weight by eating more because you were skinny. Not only have you gained weight, but your stomach is now protruding. This is definitely not good.
Several studies have shown that an increase in waist size is associated with such disorders as diabetes and hypertension. It is now time for you to readjust and lose some of the weight you have gained. Note that people tend to lose weight in those areas where they put on the most weight, so it is likely that your tummy area should decrease as you make an effort to lose weight.
In order to achieve this, you will have to reduce your calorie intake and at the same time increase your calorie burning. In a nutshell, reduce your food intake and increase your activities.
While you are losing weight, try to incorporate into your diet more healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, soups, vegetable juices and salads. It would be nice to create a healthy lifestyle that will take the weight off and keep it off.
In addition to doing this, you should do a three to five-day detox programme. This will help to reduce the size of your tummy, and will improve your skin tone and your overall health. A detox programme will also help to remove unwanted food and toxins from the body. You could speak with a health professional to get information on how to do this detox programme.
Once you undertake your detox programme and lose some weight, your tummy should go down. But it will be soft, so you will need to exercise in order to tighten up the stomach muscles.
Good luck!
