How I broke up with him
Break-ups are never easy, as there is no right time to break someone’s heart. But sometimes taking this action is necessary, and several women share how they did it.
KL:
I took him to dinner and basically told him that I was seeing someone else and I think he should know. He was mad, and yes it was embarrassing, but I had to dog him because he cheated on me. I knew that what I did was jacked up but he threw the first punch so I was basically following the order he set.
Phylicia:
I invited him to my house and we talked about all the issues we faced over the years and we both agreed that we should split. It was a clean cut and pretty decent. I’ve still got mad love for him but some relationships are there for lessons and nothing more.

I sent him a text. I know it is really disrespectful to do that to someone you once loved and share a baby with, but it was driving me crazy having this man thinking we were a family when I was basically seeing someone else. I didn’t want to face him so I texted him.

We went on a vacation together in Costa Rica and we were having a great time until I got a WhatsApp text with videos of my man with this woman. I don’t even know how she got my number but I am glad she did. I didn’t want to create too much drama so I was waiting until we got back to Jamaica to really call it off. The night before leaving we went to dinner and he asked me to marry him, and that was when I showed him the videos with the date stamps when they were recorded which was two weeks before the vacation. That was the end.

We had sex and then I got dressed and blocked him. He tried to get in touch but he realized that I knew he cheated and I was done. Actions speak louder most times than words.
