Love advice from older couples
Who are you taking relationship advice from? The best people to aid you along your journey would be those who have lived the journey, right? Fact is, if you want to properly navigate love and relationships, you should stay away from people who are trekking through life at the same pace that you are, and take advice from the wise, as collated below.
1. Learn to quickly forgive. Once there is a disagreement or an issue, sit and talk about it. It is not wise to store it inside as you will surely ruin what could be a quick fix and what can possibly cost you the love of your life.
2. Drop pride. Pride can surely kill any progress in a relationship.
3. Learn to be respectful of each other lives. Don’t go searching for trouble. Ladies, if you see your man’s phone unlocked, for example, leave it alone. Show respect.
4. Never lie. Once you give your partner a hint of mistrust, you are killing that relationship. Avoid situations that will force you to fabricate stories or to lie to your partner.
5. Include God. A relationship cannot stand the test of time without the maker of true unconditional love. Ensure to pray as a couple and ensure to be that strength for your partner spiritually.
