But how often should you be striving for, to ensure that one partner or the other is not in the doldrums about your bedroom activities? Should it be every day, every month, or a few times for the year?

As often as they can. Sex should be spontaneous and fun.
JW:
Ten times per week. You cannot restrict intimacy.
DS:
As often as they can, because after a while a man will not be able to rise to the occasion.

Well, if a guy is going to work me out all week, it won’t work. A woman’s body needs rest and if you are having sex all week, you can get bruised which can lead to infection. I am not about that. Anything that is done too often will definitely destroy you.

Four times a week, I would say.
