Women tell: First date turn-offs
Men, heading out with your guy friends is totally different from heading out on a date with a woman, especially if it is the first date. Always remember this – first impressions last.
No doubt about this, she will be observing you and your mannerisms, and no doubt about this, she will make a conclusion about your future together.
Here are five things women say won’t guarantee you a second date.
1. Greed
Gentlemen, just as you observe her behaviour with food, she is also watching you. Be conscious of how much you consume. Try to order a balanced portion of food. Women have no patience for a greedy man.
2. Awful table manners
A woman will watch to see how you handle yourself while dining. It’s OK to get comfortable, but respect is still an imperative factor. So don’t talk/laugh with food in your mouth; don’t burp loudly; don’t suck/chew on bones.
3. Embarrassing attire
A woman adores a man who knows his fashion, but he should know where he is going and dress accordingly. Also, take note of what kind of woman you’re dating. If she doesn’t seem like the type who would be comfortable with you sporting red patent leather shoes and white suit on a dinner date, please don’t indulge in this fantasy.
4. Early sex talk and ogling
All women desire to be the centre of attention, but if her breasts are all you see, or if all you can talk about is bedding her, this will be a turn-off. She will conclude that you are a flirt and clearly, you are not interested in her alone.
5. Telling her to split the bill
This is a tricky one, but there should be some communication about covering the bill before you sit there and allow her to order the chicken cordon bleu and copious amounts of Long Island iced teas, then insist that she cover her half when the bill comes. If you invited her out, you should pay, and if she did, she should pay. If it falls anywhere in the middle, then discuss beforehand what each person will cover.
