Before you enter a new relationship…
When something is new and shiny it is usually exciting and butterfly-inducing, but when that shine starts fading, then we start to see the flaws. And a preponderance of flaws can cause a once vibrant relationship to hit the dust, and often we rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, for subsequent relationships, without taking stock of what went wrong in the past.
But assessments are always a good move, and this involves analysing your own self and working on you before you enter into a new union.
How do you do this?
STEP ONE: Let it out
Find a means of letting things out – your pain, your anger, your questions about the last relationship. If you ignore this step, you will find yourself comparing your current partner with your ex and everyone deserves to be judged on their own merit.
Wash the dirty laundry of your past before venturing out into a new relationship.
STEP TWO: Meditate
You must have space in your life for meditation. This is critical because it is where you will find peace and also where you will see the mistakes you have made and ways to not repeat them. Mediation is so powerful, it can make you see the impossible as possible. Allow this step to take you to a higher level in your life.
STEP THREE: Move on
Whatever anyone has done to you that caused you hurt and grief and pain and regret, let it go. Let it fly and let it go. After meditation, simply get yourself a notepad or sheets of paper and write out everything. Then read it and rip it to pieces.
If you have any unfinished business, do not attempt to get involved with another partner. To handle what is coming, you must first handle your past. If you do not handle your past, it will surely destroy your present and most definitely your future.
