Would you confess if you cheated?
Surprisingly, infidelity is not the number one killer of intimate relationships according to experts, but rather, the lies behind the actual act. Some people are not as deeply wounded by the act of cheating as they are punctured by the lies told to them.
So knowing this, we asked women, would you confess to your guy that you cheated?
LM:
No, that would destroy my marriage completely. If I had a slip-up, I would take that to my grave.
Maya:
I would tell him if my conscience is eating at my peace. I’d rather let it out, as crazy as it sounds. Honesty is something I respect so even if it hurts, it is the truth.
Roberta:
I wouldn’t. At the rate of how I see domestic violence going, I’d rather lie and live than be honest and die! Ladies, be careful with this confessional thing!
MO:
No, I couldn’t because I know that would be the end. I think it is best you avoid situations you’re gonna have to lie about.
JN:
I am not sure I would; it all depends on the man I am with. I am currently single but if I end up in relationship with a jealous man and I happen to cheat, I think I would take that to the grave for my own good. I don’t mess with jealous people!
