Does she expect a gift?
Valentine’s Day is today, and even though there are people who have zero interest in it, there are some who take it extremely seriously, as they believe it’s a special day for gifts and romance. Below, several women tell what they expect on this day.
SG:
It means a lot to me and so I am waiting to see what my husband will get me. I am serious about it. I mean, every woman likes to get gifts, so yes, I am anxiously waiting.
Dianne:
If I don’t get a gift, he will get no romance. It’s a day to treat your woman and after all the washing, cooking and cleaning, I deserve a big basket with roses and chocolates. Mi deserve it!
Kerry:
I don’t care if I get gifts or not. That doesn’t make a relationship progress. It’s nice if my man gets me something, but if he doesn’t, no big deal. I am not fussy anyway. What matters is that I am happy.
Taye:
It is not that serious. Valentine’s is about couples exchanging gifts but now it seems like it is like women must collect and the men must give. Ladies, treat your man too if the day means that much to you. For me, it is just another day and I randomly give gifts to my man anyways; it doesn’t have to be a holiday. Maybe more couples should try that.
